(Labor Day Weekend): Buses Nowhere Near the Arch #38 Annual Campout near Hannibal, MO ??? Located in the Group Campground at Indian Creek Recreational Area on the North coastline of Mark Twain Lake, about 30 miles west of Hannibal, Missouri. A family-oriented camping event on an 18,000-acre 22 mile long lake featuring an informal VW Bus show with awards on Saturday, informal parts swap meet, ???site-to-site" socializing, "Bus-banter," a Saturday morning scenic Bus caravan through Mark Twain country, awards and door prizes on Saturday evening, a fun evening "lantern walk," campfire activities and more. The total event and camping fee for the full four-day weekend is still only $35! No advance registration is needed or available, so just register your VW upon arrival.
