(Labor Day Weekend): Buses Nowhere Near the Arch #44 Annual Campout near Hannibal, MO – Located in the Group Campground at Indian Creek Recreational Area on the North coastline of Mark Twain Lake, about 30 miles west of Hannibal, Missouri. A family-oriented camping event on an 18,000-acre 22 mile long lake featuring an informal VW Bus show with awards on Saturday, informal parts swap meet, “site-to-site” socializing, “Bus-banter,” a Saturday morning scenic Bus caravan through Mark Twain country, awards and door prizes on Saturday evening, a fun evening “lantern walk,” campfire activities and more. The total event and camping fee for the full four-day weekend is still only $35! No advance registration is needed or available, so just register your VW upon arrival. Note: only VWs of any model or era are allowed inside the campground for the long weekend!
