8 am to 5 pm at the Illinois Railway Museum in Union, Illinois, 7 miles off I-90 via Route 20, Marengo Exit. The past comes alive through the display of antique autos, trucks, fire engines, tractors, motorcycles and buses-hundreds of vehicles assemble throughout the Museum campus. Ride the streetcars to the various display areas. Inter-urbans and diesel coach trains will be running on the mainline!

Download this handy pre-registration form for reduced entry fee of $15.00 for show vehicle and up to three passengers to receive free train tickets (a $18.00 value each). (Entry at the gate is $20.00.) Registration must be received by July 27, 2024 to get this reduced entry fee and insure your ability to park your VW with the rest of our group.

New location: Ohio History Center, 800 E. 17th Avenue, Columbus, OH. Ohio's biggest single day vintage VW event! The Central Ohio Vintage VW Club will host the 33rd annual Volksfest. All vintage and new Volkswagens are welcome. As well as Porsche, Audi, and any interesting European and air-cooled cars. There will be door prizes, great food provided by four food trucks, raffles, music, and lots of fun throughout the day! Gates open at 8 am for show car and swap area registration. Gates open at 10 am for spectators. Venders/Swappers will be able to set up on Friday the 9th from 2pm to 10pm. Awards will be given for the top 50 cars, plus people???s choice, best of show water- cooled and best of show air -cooled.

Car show entry is $20 for car and driver, $5 for each additional passenger. Swap area is $25 per space. Spectator admission is $5 per person, with kids 2 and under free! Dash plaques for the first 200 show cars registered. There will be NO PRE- REGISTRATION!

Bi-State VW Club's 27th Annual Show & Shine Picnic, Empire Park, Great River Trail (on the Mississippi), Hampton (Quad Cities area) Illinois. Registration from 8:00 am to noon. Entry fee is $15.00 with proceeds going to charity. Dash plaques, swap meet and awards for Best of Bunch presented at 3:00 pm. Camping available at nearby Iliniwek Park. CAMPERS: Some show attendees will also enjoy a weekend of camping (Saturday-Monday, August 19-21) at Fisherman's Corner campground, just a mile or so down the road from the show. If you are going to camp with us, make your campsite reservation right away. Hurry, the sites fill up fast.

3rd Annual Mooseheart Car Show, Sunday, August 25, 9:00 am to 2:30 pm. Car entry fee $20.00; spectators donate what you can. Top 40 awards plus Best Student Favorite. Plenty of parking available, food cooked on the grill, beer tent, 50/50 raffle and entertainment by Cruisin Music Radio. Enter the main gate on Rte. 31 where volunteers will guide you to the show grounds. Presented by Moose Lodge #2655 to benefit the Vocational Automotive Shop. Mooseheart is a home & school for children and teens in need.

(Labor Day Weekend): Buses Nowhere Near the Arch #38 Annual Campout near Hannibal, MO Located in the Group Campground at Indian Creek Recreational Area on the North coastline of Mark Twain Lake, about 30 miles west of Hannibal, Missouri. A family-oriented camping event on an 18,000-acre 22 mile long lake featuring an informal VW Bus show with awards on Saturday, informal parts swap meet, "site-to-site" socializing, "Bus-banter," a Saturday morning scenic Bus caravan through Mark Twain country, awards and door prizes on Saturday evening, a fun evening "lantern walk," campfire activities and more. The total event and camping fee for the full four-day weekend is still only $35! No advance registration is needed or available, so just register your VW upon arrival. Registration from 7:00 am to 12:00 Noon; $20. All cars, trucks and motorcycles welcome.

Pancake breakfast, 8am-11am; Beer & Bloody Marys, 8am-4pm; Craft show 9am-4pm; Live music by Shukin & the Ramblers, 12 noon to 2pm; Food trucks, 11am to 4pm; Awards at 2:30pm.

All proceeds go to Ignite the Courage, a non-profit 501(c)3 charity created and run by Bartlett Firefighters to provide resources and inspiration to individuals & families in need within Bartlett.
