VW Announces the ID.4’s U.S. Arrival, A Cross-Country Trip and Project Trinity

March 16:  VW announced it’s is rolling its ID.4 long-range battery electric vehicle to its American dealers.  Dealers say VW helped them acquire special lifts for this vehicle, install charging stations and train staff to assist first-time EV owners.  VW kicked off a 6,000 mile NYC to Sacramento trek in the ID.4 last weekend too.

And as VW starts selling ID.4s stateside, it announced yet another EV up its metaphorical sleeve:  Project Trinity.  Slated for production in Wolfsburg during 2026, VW previewed the design of a BEV sedan with a newly developed electric platform, simplified supply structure, intelligent production and capable of highly automated driving.
